A punch machine – also called a boxing machine, punch bag strength tester or arcade boxer – is the simplest competition at any event: drop the pad, take a swing and the machine shows exactly how hard you hit. Everyone thinks they can top the leaderboard, which is why a punch machine draws a crowd within minutes of switching on.

Frequently asked questions
How much does punch machine hire cost?
Punch machine hire starts from the price shown on each machine (+ VAT) for a single day, including UK delivery, set-up and collection on most bookings. A two-day hire is charged at 1.5 days and a three-day hire is charged as two days. Use the availability checker for a live estimate.
How much space and power does a punch machine need?
Our boxing machine is about 70cm wide x 115cm deep x 230cm high and weighs around 130kg; allow an operating area of roughly 1.5m x 1.8m with 2.3m headroom. It runs from one standard 13A socket within 25m (generator hire available) and comes on a trolley, so upper floors need lift access. Full specs are on the spec sheet with your quote.
Is a punch machine safe for guests?
Yes. Our machines are PAT tested, we hold £5m public and employer's liability insurance and supply a risk assessment with every booking (method statement on request). Adult supervision is required – add one of our staff to run the queue, explain the game and record scores.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. Our crew delivers, installs and collects across England, Scotland and Wales – from London and the South East to Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Can the punch machine be branded with our logo?
Yes. We print and fit vinyl wraps in-house. Once your booking is confirmed we send an artwork template sized for the machine you've booked.
Can we run a leaderboard and give prizes?
Yes – the machine shows live results on its digital display, and we can add a magnetic leaderboard. Add a staffed attendant and we'll run a live leaderboard and hand out prizes for the top hitters.
Can we hire a punch machine long term?
Yes. We offer weekly and monthly hire for bars, student unions, leisure venues and pop-ups, with servicing included.
